Did you catch this?
Writing is different now. Long gone are the days of re-reading a 600-page tome on your couch, are the days of remembering what it was you even read just a few moments ago.
I’ve worked with numerous NYT-bestselling authors on their research projects, and they all say the same thing. We all need to get to the point quick — but whoever can chart that route the most creatively will win the publishing race.
All of my writing — profiles, meditations, etc. — is under 1,000 words. Quick, digestible, yet (hopefully) leaving you asking more. What is it that I just read? What did it mean to me? Shall I read it again?
I hope so. Subscribe to get full access to my newsletter and publication archives. You can also view older publication archives over on my site, andrewfleig.net
