a quick update

Current writings, future projects, and what to expect.

It’s been a while since I’ve addressed our newsletter audience here (with new readers!) with some updates. Even more concerning, it has been a while since I’ve written in first person!

We’ve reached the “thousands” mark for readers-per-month at this point (sigh of relief!), but with that comes more ideas and even more ambitions. I hope to be transparent about what you can expect in your inbox and on the Internet from myself in the upcoming months.

A few quick notes:

• The Profiles series will continue in June, with some very accomplished and talented subjects coming your way.

• I’m beginning a collaboration on a brand new newsletter, which will discuss in-depth literary techniques, book writing processes, insider publishing, etc. It is a wild shift from what is published here, but it is proven to have an audience of its own. Expect an update tomorrow on this new platform.

• Most of my writing juice has been spent on either: a) ghostwriting client work, b) long-form collaborations, and c) attempting to organize my thoughts. I hope to consolidate these efforts into simply: b) long-form collaborations, and d) frequent newsletters from both platforms.

With that being said, there will be more writing coming to you nearly every day now. Weekly essays and notes every Tuesday and Thursday, with emails every Monday and Saturday coming every other week. It will be a lot, surely, but consistency leads to higher standards and, subsequently, higher quality.

Inspiration – and time – are at an all-time high, and I owe it not just to you, but to myself, to capitalize on it. More to come.
